Dear Colleague,
we would like to invite you to take part in the Third Najman Conference on Spectral Problems for Operators and Matrices, to be held from September 16-22, 2013 in Biograd, Croatia.
The purpose of this conference is to commemorate the scientific contribution of Branko Najman by bringing together scientists working in related areas of mathematics.
Topics of the conference include all the aspects of the work of the late prof. Najman, with an emphasis on the following areas of research:
Each session of the conference will be devoted to a specific topic and will begin with an introductory lecture by a senior researcher.
The advisory board of the conference consists of Paul Binding (University of Calgary), Aad Dijksma (University of Groningen), Vjeran Hari (University of Zagreb), Heinz Langer (TU Wien), Zvonko Tutek (University of Zagreb), Krešimir Veselić (University of Hagen) and Jürgen Voigt (TU Dresden).

The conference venue will be at the Hotel Adria (http://www.hoteladria.hr/eng). The price for the conference package will be around 300€, which will also cover the accommodation costs, social programme and meals. Limited financial support might be provided for researchers who cannot obtain funding from their home institutes. Please consult the conference website for the most up-to date information.
