Venue

The conference will take place at the Centre for Advanced Academic Studies (CAAS) in Dubrovnik (in the same building as the Inter University Centre), situated a few hundred meters from the old walled city. Accommodation for some of the participants has been reserved in the Dormitory in the CAAS building; however, there is a number of hotels at walking distance from the CAAS. The first lecture starts on Monday, September 5 in the morning, while the lectures finish on Friday, September 9, in the afternoon. Registration and a welcome reception is planned for Sunday, September 4 in the evening.

Arrival information

Dubrovnik airport is relatively small, and there should be no problem in locating the Atlas bus which will take you to Pile (the bus then goes to the bus station; you want to get off at Pile, which is a junction point for city buses, next to Pile old city gates). After every scheduled flight there is airport shuttle from Airport to Dubrovnik. More information on airport shuttle buses.

After getting off the Airport shuttle bus at Pile, walk along the main street away from the Old city walls. Some 100 m further you will see Hotel Imperial on your right. Continue in the same direction, passing the hotel, and after 50 m on your left, there is Sesame caffe/restaurant. Turn left before Sesame, into Dante Alighieri street/passage, and after several steps you will be in front of the Centre (CAAS). The address is Ul. don Frana Bulića 4.
