some useful directions to/from Hotel Academia/Department of Mathematics/Restaurant

Some practical information: To reach the Department of Mathematics, you can either walk or take the bus. It is slightly on the hill. From the city centre, you can take the bus at Kaptol bus station (very close to the main Jelacic square, just by the Cathedral). The next possible station where you can catch the bus is Medvescak bus station (the best for those staying at Hotel Academia). The buses that will take you to the Department (you should exit at station Bijenicka) :
106 Direction Kaptol->Krematorij,
201 Direction Kaptol->Kvaternikov trg,
226 Direction Kaptol->Svetice.
238 Direction Kaptol->Kozjak.
Note that the line 105 will not take you to the Department.
The bus arrives approximately every 15 minutes, so please check in advance the schedule and stations at Bus schedule, by pressing on the number of the bus. The ticket can be bougth on the bus (the tickets for the bus and the tram are the same, so if you already have a tram ticket it is valid for 1h or 1h30) and costs approx. 2 EUR (15 kunas) in the bus. If you nevertheless buy the same ticket at small newspaper stands (usually named Tisak) throughout the town, it costs there only 4 kunas.
