HPF Programming Issues II

The following will slow down an HPF program,

• complicated subscript expressions,
• indirect addressing (vector subscripting),
• sequential (non-parallelisable) DO-loops,
• remapping objects,
• ill-chosen mappings,
• poor load balancing.
