The duration of the contributed talks is 20 mn. The time allotted for your presentation includes time for discussion and changeover to the next speaker. Session chairs will hold you to the allotted time. This is essential to ensure adequate time for questions and discussion as well as adherence to schedule.
All conference rooms are equipped with the following audio/visual equipment:
The computers in the conference rooms are provided to accommodate with Windows-based PC users. The PC will be configured with Microsoft Windows XP Professional. The acceptable formats for presentations are: Acrobat PDF, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Personal laptops cannot be used in meeting rooms while giving your oral presentation.
Your presentation must be loaded onto one of the conference room PC by the Projection coordinator. Speakers should provide the file of their talks, preferably a pdf file, by using a Memory Stick card. The Projection coordinator will load your presentation on the appropriate platform on the morning of your talk: between 8:00 a.m. -- 8:45 a.m. the day of your talk.
