Scaling Up and Modeling for Transport and Flow in Porous Media
Dubrovnik, Croatia, 13-16 October 2008
NEWS
The
aim of the conference is to
bring together researchers, scientists, engineers, and students to
exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results
about upscaling for modeling, analysis and simulation of flow and
transport in porous media and application to problems including
subsurface hydrology, petroleum exploration, contaminant remediation,
carbon sequestration and nuclear waste storage.
During this conference a special session will be devoted to the
60th anniversary of Professor Alain Bourgeat.
Selected papers from the conference will be published as a Special Issue of
Journal Applicable Analysis.
