β-EXPANSION OF p-ADIC NUMBERS WITH PISOT-CHABAUTY BASES

Abstract. The aim of this paper is to study some arithmetic properties
about the finiteness and the periodicity of the β-expansion of p-adic
numbers. We prove that if the β-expansion of unity or rationals verifies
some conditions then β is a Pisot-Chabauty number.
