The Second Croatian Mathematical Congress was held in Zagreb, Croatia, June 15-17, 2000. The Congress had a strong international component, and it was open to all areas of mathematics. The Congress was organized by the Croatian Mathematical Society and the Department of Mathematics, University of Zagreb, under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of Croatia.

The program included plenary lectures, parallel sessions, and CMS award lecture. The parallel sessions included invited lectures and short communications (15 min) selected by the Scientific Committee.
