Accomodation

The conference will take place at the Centre for Advanced Academic Studies - Dubrovnik (CAAS) (in the same building as the Inter University Centre), situated a few hundred metres from the old walled city.

Accommodation for the most of participants can be reserved in the Dormitory in the CAAS building with the price of 30-50 Euros. Since the accommodation space in the CAAS is limited, the rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. However, priority will be given to the participants with accepted talks, to the experts in the fields which are in the scope of the conference and to the students.

The price list is:
  • Single bed room: 40 Euros
  • Double bed room (per person): 30 Euros
  • Double bed room (single use): 50 Euros
  • Apartment: 40 Euros

There are 21 single and 13 double rooms (each with bathroom, air condition, phone and Internet), and 7 double bed apartments (each with kitchenette and bathroom).

Arrival

We expect that most participants will arrive by plane, some changing planes at the Zagreb airport.

Dubrovnik airport is relatively small, and there should be no problem in locating the Atlas bus which will take you to Pile (the bus then goes to the bus station; you want to get off at Pile, which is a junction point for city buses, next to Pile old city gates).

From there it is a short walk to CAAS building, which is also known under the name UNESCO building (red building in SW part of the map; the grid on the map is approx. 1 km, so it is a 500 m walk from the bus to the UNESCO building - from Dr. Ante Starcevica street take left in Dante Alighieri passage, and you will be in front of the UNESCO building).
