Isoperimetry and dimension on groups with Property A

We will use Guoliang Yu's Property A to show a direct inequality relating Vershik's isoperimetric profiles of amenable groups and Gromov's type of asymptotic dimension. This allows to compute isoperimetric profiles of some solvable groups and to find examples of groups which have finite asymptotic dimension but of non-linear type.
